Vols at big disadvantage from Tide

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee is starting at a disadvantage against top-ranked Alabama at the line of scrimmage before ever taking a snap.

The Crimson Tide's three defensive linemen weigh a combined 100 pounds more than the Volunteers' interior offensive linemen.

The mismatches in Saturday's game start at center, where two Codys will battle for control. The Vols' 6-foot-1, 260-pound senior center, Cody Sullins, will be tasked with moving 6-foot-5, 350-pound Tide senior noseguard Terrence Cody.

Sullins says he's looking forward to the challenge of trying to move "Mount Cody."

Tennessee coaches have said the low man usually wins the battle at the line of scrimmage - a theory Sullins gets a chance to prove.
