Brundidge, AL (WSFA) - Whether she's barking or teaching, Ms. Mlelinda Defee is a class favorite at Pike County High School in Brundidge. She's been a teacher for 15 years, 14 of them at Pike County High. Her goal is to make math fun. "I know they get excited about something when I get excited, sometimes they need a little encouragement, but usually they get excited about it," Defee said.
And speaking of excitement, if you think Ms. Defee is lively in the classroom, you should see her at the football games. Her classroom is filled with bulldogs. "I'm the number one Pike County Bulldog fan around. I'm the one up in the stands making all the noise and sometimes barking."
Whether it's in the classroom or in the stands Ms. Defee is a true Bulldog, and she's this week's Class Act.
