TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama coach Nick Saban said his team played against Tennessee with too much anxiety.
Saban said after Tuesday's practice he felt the Crimson Tide was playing not to lose, instead of playing to win. He wants them to be aggressive and play with "guns blazing."
The Tide needed two blocked kicks in the fourth quarter to survive a 12-10 win over the Volunteers. They have an open date before facing No. 9 LSU.
Saban and players both said it was a perfect time for an off week after eight straight games.
