Men face 48 rape, robbery, kidnap charges

TROY, AL (WSFA) - Three men suspected of burglary, rape, sodomy, robbery, kidnapping and theft are under arrest in the city of Troy.

The acts happened at a trailer on Swindall Road south of Troy early Monday morning according to Chief Anthony Everage.

Investigators say the home was occupied by a total of six people - four Hispanic males, one Hispanic female and one white female - when the three suspects forcibly entered it armed with firearms and committed the crimes. Additional information about the crimes was not released as investigators build their case.

The suspects are identified as Kendrick Katrell Thomas, 23, Anthony Perrie Turner, 22, both from Clayton, and Ronald Demarkus Thomas, 25, from Louisville.

Police say the Thomas' are brothers and were arrested by TPD Monday evening at 6:12 p.m. on Carver Drive in Troy. Turner was arrested Wednesday around 3:30 p.m. at the Troy Police Department.

Katrell Thomas is charged with rape 1st degree, 6 counts of robbery 1st degree, 6 counts of kidnapping 1st degree, burglary 1st degree and theft 1st degree. His bond is set at $800,000.

Ronald  Thomas is charged with rape 1st degree, sodomy 1st degree, 6 counts of robbery 1st degree, 6 counts of kidnapping 1st degree, burglary 1st degree and theft 1st degree.  His bond was set at $900,000 but was upgraded to NO BOND after holds were discovered in Barbour County.

Turner is charged with 2 counts rape 1st degree, sodomy 1st degree, 6 counts robbery 1st degree, 6 counts kidnapping 1st degree, burglary 1st degree and theft 1st degree. His bond was set at $1 million but was upgraded to NO BOND after holds were discovered in Barbour County.
