HUNTSVILLE, AL (WSFA) - Alabama A&M University is cutting jobs.

Administrators handed out 45 pink slips this weekend.

They say a drop in enrollment combined with statewide budget cuts left the university with an $18,000,000.00 deficit.

The 45 employees let go represent about 4% of the university's workforce.
