The horrific tornadoes that ripped through Oklahoma this week bring back all too familiar memories for Alabamians as memories of April 27, 2011 are still fresh in many minds. When Alabamians were in need

Kudos, or perhaps, cheers to the Alabama Legislature for passing HB9, the home brewing bill. Legalized home brewing may not be up there with education reform or prison funding, but it was overdue.

We certainly have much to be thankful for as we celebrate with family and friends this weekend.

Alabama fans are cheering the best defense in the country and a potential football national championship and Auburn fans are enjoying an offensive rebirth that translated into a winning season.

Troy fans are enjoying a fourth straight Sun Belt Conference title; and Prattville fans are anticipating a fourth straight state championship.

State workers are cheering an extra Friday holiday after Thanksgiving, giving them 14 days off  this year for  holidays.

Hyundai workers are celebrating longer work weeks and national share growth.

Nearly 150 families of deployed soldiers are celebrating free YMCA memberships this year thanks to generous friends and neighbors.

We are all thankful here for you.

We value you as viewers and advertisers and look forward to serving you each day!
