MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Thanks to the Salvation Army, nearly 700 people enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving meal complete with turkey and all the trimmings.
The Montgomery location served about 170 people at it's headquarters and delivered another 500 meals thanks to generous volunteers who spent their holiday helping people in need.
Officials say that the leftover frozen turkeys and hams will be saved and serves to families for Christmas.
