Washington, D.C. (WSFA) -  The Pentagon's decision to re-start the bidding process on an Air Force refueling tanker contract that was planned for Mobile, Al angered Governor Bob Riley. The Pentagon's airplane maker Northrop Grumman planned to build a new 600-million dollar facility in Mobile bringing billions of dollars of business to the state and creating thousands of new jobs if it won.

Governor Riley was not happy with the news and stated, "All Americans should be outraged that the Obama administration has corrupted the tanker selection process with a blatantly unfair competition."

Alabama senator Jeff Sessions says the Air Force's request for proposal, tilted the playing field toward the quote "less capable Boeing Aircraft."
