Tim Tebow and Mark Ingram get one last chance to impress Heisman Trophy winners - but it's a doozy.
Tebow and No. 1 Florida meet Ingram and No. 2 Alabama Saturday in the Southeastern Conference championship game. Sure, the winner gets a spot in the national title game.
But the victor in that Heisman derby might help his chances of winning the award. A big game on that grand stage surely can't hurt.
After all, none of the other top Heisman contenders can finish their campaign in a 1 versus 2 showdown.
But Tebow faces a Crimson Tide team that leads the nation in pass defense efficiency and is second-best against the run. Ingram has to seek room to run against the No. 8 run defense.
