MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Faulkner University spokeswoman Leigh Brannon says a Facebook post led the university to order a campus-wide lockdown Thursday afternoon. The lockdown has since ended.

Brannon said  the lockdown was ordered around 3:30pm after campus security officials learned of a Facebook post from a student who was browsing the site. The post was said to be "alarming" and though Brannon did not go into details about the post she did say that it was an "unspecific threat."

There are no reports of injuries is this case.

The Montgomery Police Department is on the scene and has taken into custody an individual. That person, not identified, is being questioned at police headquarters.

University officials have canceled classes for the evening.
