Dalraida Teacher A Class Act

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -  There's one thing you can always count on in Ms. Lindy Cigrang's kindergarten class at Dalraida Elementary School, she's always on the move.    "This is my second year at Dalraida, 18th overall," Cigrang said.

A former student nominated her for the Class Act Award.   The student says she just has a great way of connecting with all of the kids and their parents.   For Ms. Cigrang,  she just loves kindergarten.    "I think it's the fact that it's their first time away from home and I'm a mom so I know what it's like.   It can be uncomfortable for moms when they don't have there kids with them.     We work hard but also play hard.   We do crafts and really work on reading and  it's all worth it when the light bulb goes on."

It seems like the light bulb is always shining in this class thanks to their teacher Ms. Lindy Cigrang, this week's Class Act.
