PIKE, BULLOCK, AND MACON COUNTIES, AL (WSFA) - The state's Mental Health Department is ceebrating a $9-million dollar grant to help transform services for children mental health celebratingike, Bullock, and Macon counties. The money will be used to expand their services that allow them to help more children.
East-Central Medical Center Don Schofield said, "The big problem we have in providing adolescent services is we have a tendencies to lose kids when we don't need to lose them. With this grant, we will be able to insure to stay in touch with them."
A dozen agencies worked to put the grant application together.
