Fire victims are hoping for justice

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -  A Montgomery family learns that their house was burglarized and set on fire a month ago. A few weeks ago, the Rolling Hills Lake volunteer fire fighters responded to the house fire in the Pike Road Plantation neighborhood and were able to extinguish the fire in minutes. No one was home at the time of the incident.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's office confirmed the fire was an act of arson and burglary. Now the family is hoping for justice.

The state fire marshall is still investigating. But if you would like to help the family, you can contribute to a trust fund set up in their name at Regions Bank.
