Pike Co. wreck kills Ramer woman

PIKE COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - A wreck that occured on Pike County Road 7702, two miles west of China Grove, has claimed the life of a Ramer woman.

State troopers say Marquetta Yvette Dulaney was killed when the Chevy Lumina she was driving exceeded the posted speed limit, ran off the road, overcorrected and hit a tree.

Dulaney was not wearing a seat belt and was partially ejected. She was later prounounced dead by the Pike County Coroner.

Dulaney's 14 month old female baby was also partially ejected out of the car and was airlifted to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. The baby is listed in stable condition.
