Florida's Meyer not ready to call it quits

FLORIDA (WSFA) - Florida football coach Urban Meyer now says he's taking an indefinite leave of absence due to his players influence.

On Saturday, Meyer announced he was resigning after five seasons with the Gators, citing health concerns.

But on Sunday, the coach said he will take an indefinite leave of absence instead. Meyer said, "The love of my players made me change my mind."

Meyer wouldn't elaborate on his health problems..only to say its chest pains and doctors advised him to get help to prevent more damage.

He will be the head coach for the Gators in the Sugar Bowl coming up January 1st.
