HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - Two people are in critical condition at Huntsville Hospital after a stabbing and a shooting in Madison County.
The stabbing happened around noon on the 22-hundred block of Fairfax Drive in Northeast Huntsville.
The shooting happened at a trailer off of old Gurley Pike in Madison County.
Police said the stabbing and shooting are related.
The suspect in the stabbing is 45-year-old Barry Congo.Police said after allegedly stabbing Randy Hall, Congo drove to another location and shot himself in the head.
Huntsville police said Congo and Hall got into an argument at a home on Fairfax Drive, and that's when Congo allegedly stabbed him.
Neighbors said Hall was slashed across the neck.
He was taken to Huntsville Hospital in critical condition.
Police said Congo then drove to a trailer on Old Gurley Pike where he shot himself in the head.
Madison County investigators were out at that trailer Sunday afternoon.
Congo was taken to Huntsville Hospital, where at last check, he was in critical condition in the neuro-intensive care unit.
Police are not yet revealing how these two men knew each other.
