MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Rick Barber officially tossed his name into the hat for 2nd district congressman today.
Barber says congressional spending is out of control and leading us down a dangerous road.
Barber is a Marine Corps veteran and a small business owner.
"We're looking to change the opinion of what politics is supposed to be and bring integrity and common sense back to our government," says Barber.
Barber will face Montgomery councilwoman Martha Roby and incumbent Democrat Bobby Bright who right now is unopposed in the primary.
