Hearing delayed for MPS board members' attorney

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A Monday hearing for an attorney for two Montgomery County School board members has been delayed.

The school board voted to bring criminal obstruction charges against attorney Frank Snowden.

He represents his wife, Melissa, and board fellow member Charlotte Meadows.

The entire board is being sued by former interim school superintendent Clay Slagel.

He claims the board violated the state's opening meeting law.

The two women say they got their own lawyer when they learned they would be held personally responsible if Slagel wins his suit.
