Once the driver hit the Millbrook city limits, the suspect was greeted with spike strips that flattened her tires and brought her vehicle, and the chase, to an abrupt end.

The suspect, Jacqueline Barfield, was arrested and charged with numerous traffic violations, reckless endangerment, attempting to allude and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.

She's being held at the Autauga County Jail.

A motive for why Barfield was driving erratically was not immediately known.
