Town without water

A state of emergency is declared in Thomasville.  Thousands of people in the Clarke County town don't' have water.  In fact, Thomasville has had little or no water for five days.

The severe cold weather combined with other factors including heavy used are to blame for the major problems.

The mayor tells WSFA 12 News he expects the shortage to last a few more days.

The Alabama EMA has handed out $150,000 bottles of water and a water purification system is now in place.
