Floating hospital in route to Haiti

WASHINGTON (WSFA) - The U.S. is taking the lead in the Haitian relief effort by moving out its USNS Comfort ship to bring medical aid to the earthquake victims. The full scale floating hospital can handle about 200 patients a day.

It's scheduled to arrive in Haiti January 22nd.

On Thursday, President Obama promised 100-million dollars in U.S. aid.
