Army officers' trouble in Ft. Hood shooting investigation

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WSFA) - Eight Army officers may be facing disciplinary action in relation to the Fort Hood shooting spree that happened back in November.

A Pentagon investigation suggests the officers should have recognized shooting suspect, Major Nidal Hasan's problems and erratic behavior early in his military career.

Hasan is accused of killing 13 people during the shooting spree at Fort Hood in Texas.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates will release the report to the Army to determine if punishment is warranted.
