ALDOT to close I-65 South entrance ramp near Prattville

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Weather permitting, Tuesday, Jan. 26, beginning at 8:30 a.m., Interstate 65 South at mile marker 179 will be reduced to one lane up until mile marker 178 for bridge repair.

Additionally, The entrance ramp onto I-65 South from Cobbs Ford Road will be closed during the repair. Traffic may access I-65 South at Exit 176 from State Road 143.

Repair work is expected to be completed by 4 p.m.

Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this construction to improve Alabama's roadways.
