High school students can get an early start on college with a new program offered by the University of Alabama. UA early college is the program, it offers online classes in ten subjects.
High schoolers who complete 18 credit hours with at least a 2.5 GPA, can enroll at the university without an ACT score. "The credit does come to Alabama because it is the University of Alabama transcripted credit. Students can take this credit with them when they go to other colleges," says Dr. Cheree Causey of UA early college.
