MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - An Alabama State University student is $1,000 richer this Wednesday.
Brandon Hurst took home a $1,000 scholarship from Chick-fil-A which helps restaurant employees who want to further their education, and display abilities to do great things.
"The program recognizes employees who have acquired the leadership qualities and skills necessary to be successful in life," said Robert Eke, Operator of the Chick-fill-A at Colonial Promenade, "while providing an additional incentive for our employees to remain dedicated and work hard."
Hurst will now be eligible for Chick-fil-A's Truett Cathy Scholar Award, which provides an additional $1,000 Scholarship to the top 25 Chick-fil-A Leadership recipients each year.Copyright
