Celebrate Mardi Gras close to home

PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - You do not have to travel far this year to celebrate the fun of Mardi Gras. This Saturday is Prattville's 6th Annual Mardi Gras celebration.

The parade's theme is "A Hometown Mardi Gras." It will roll out of the county's courthouse at 3:00 p.m. and wind its way through downtown.

There will be plenty of beads, candy, and moon pies!! WSFA 12 News Bryan Henry will be the Grand Marshal of the parade.

Food and beverages will be sold; and bands will provide entertainment.
