MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Myron Rolle is back hitting offensive players again instead of the books.
The former Florida State safety and Rhodes Scholar spent a year studying at Oxford University. Now he's among the players trying to improve their NFL draft stock and hone skills at Saturday's Senior Bowl.
Rolle speaks passionately and thoughtfully about his plans to one day open a medical clinic for the needy in the Bahamas, but being a football player again is nice, too.
He says he likes everything from the sounds of yelling coaches and popping pads to the smell of the grass.
Rolle returned in mid-December to start preparing for the Senior Bowl and the NFL combine.
He stayed in shape at Oxford partly by practicing with a rugby team.
