DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) - The issue of raiding Country Crossing's electronic bingo operation will be heard by a federal judge next week.
Montgomery Federal Judge Myron Thompson will hear the entertainment center's request for a temporary restraining order on Monday morning.
The judge will conduct a hearing by phone with the parties involved.
The federal court rejected a previous request to stop any raid at Country Crossing in Houston County, south of Dothan.
Country Crossing is closed this Friday; its doors are chained and locked by its operators. An attorney for the operation says by closing the facility it forced the Governor's Illegal Gambling Task Force to obtain a search warrant before it can conduct a raid.
