Plane makes emergency landing in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Montgomery after lightning struck the Florida bound plane last night.

The aircraft landed around 9:30 Friday night with 73 passengers on board.

Officials say there were no injuries.

They will send the plane to Pittsburgh for inspection.

Passengers were given hotel accommodations for the night.
