JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A 6-year-old girl has been killed in the Terry community and neighbors say a neighborhood dog fatally mauled her.

Ken McGee said the girl was found lying in the snow and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Angie Collins, Anastasia's cousin, told WLBT television that the girl was attacked by a pit bull belonging to someone in the neighborhood.
The Clarion-Ledger newspaper reported that the dog was taken into custody by the Sheriff's Office.
