Former Black Panther Faces More Trouble

A former Black Panther convicted of killing a Georgia sheriff's deputy who was captured in Lowndes County, Alabama is facing more trouble. Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, formerly known as H. Rap Brown is now accused of trying to escape from the Fulton County jail last week.

Now authorities there want him transferred back to Georgia State Prison. Al-Amin was put in the county jail to allow him to be closer to his attorney who is working on his appeal. Al-Amin also faces charges here in Alabama for allegedly possessing a rifle and firing shots at two U.S. Marshals when they tried to arrest him in March of 2000.
