MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A group of Auburn University-Montgomery students dedicated their Saturday to a good cause.
They held a yard sale at the Baptist Student Union.
All the proceeds go to Haiti relief efforts.
Organizers say hundreds attended the sale snatching up clothes, shoes and toys.
"This is something that we're doing from the heart. Ya know, everyone knows what's going on with Haiti. And this was just our way for the campus to rally around...to help us do something bigger than us," says organizer Mona Phillips.
Organizers say they've already raised more than $1,000 dollars.
They're donating any leftover items to local homeless shelters.
