AUBURN, AL (WSFA) - One person is dead following an early Monday morning car wreck in Auburn. Police believe alcohol is a factor.

The Auburn Police Department and emergency medical personnel responded to the single vehicle wreck on Shug Jordan Parkway around 2:30am where they found three people who had been ejected after their vehicle overturned several times.

Killed in the accident was 19-year-old Garrett Schlichtemeier of Ogallala, Nebraska. Other injured passengers included the driver, 18-year-old Michael Madkins of Elk Grove, California and 18-year-old Tyler Perri of Covina, California. Perri was treated for minor injuries on the scene.
