Tallassee Teacher a Class Act

Posted by: Judd Davis - bio | email

Tallassee, AL (WSFA) - There's no sitting still in Mrs. Renee Dickerson's class, and that's just the way she likes it.   "I couldn't sit still when I was kid," Dickerson said.   "I played sports and was very active, so I don't expect them to sit still."

Mrs. Dickerson has been teaching for two years and she loves kindergarten.   "I've always enjoyed being around kids.   I babysat a lot when I was young.   I believe young kids can be inspired to be great leaders and I want to be part of that."

She knows she can have a huge impact on these kids lives.     "That's the most inspiring part to me, knowing they can grow and bloom into great people."

Her classroom is like her own little garden, with bright young flowers ready to bloom.  Congratulations on being a real "Class Act".
