Arrests made in string of burglaries

DOTHAN, AL (WSFA) – The Houston County Sheriff's Office has busted up a burglary ring that could solve 30 burglaries.

The sheriff's office say three people Robert Allan, Kristy Dawson, and Jeffrey Turner are the ones behind the string of break ins.

"We are looking at numerous counties, numerous counts of burglaries, right now the best we can tell is we have probably cleared somewhere in excess of 30 burglaries in Houston County, and the surrounding area," says Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes.

It's possible the trio may also face charges in Geneva and Coffee counties and even across the border in Georgia and Florida.

The sheriff's office believes they may be storing more stolen property at different locations around the wiregrass.

If you have any information about this case you can call the sheriff's office at 677-4888
