IRISH DELIGHT!

A VARIATION ON THE TRADITIONAL ST. PADDY'S DAY MEAL OF CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE

 

1 CAN CRESENT ROLLS

1/2-1  CUP DRAINED SAUERKRAUT (MADE FROM CABBAGES YOU KNOW!)

SLICES OF CORNED BEEF

SWISS CHEESE SLICES

THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING

1 EGG BEATEN

POPPYSEED

 

HEAT OVEN TO 350. TAKE CRESENT ROLL DOUGH AND PULL TRIANGLE APART. LAY THEM IN A CIRCLE WITH THE POINTED PART POINTING OUT, TO MAKE A RING.  TOP RING WITH SLICES OF CORNED BEEF..SPOON A BIT OF THOUSAND ISLAND OVER CORNED BEEF.THEN PUT A LAYER OF SAUERKRAUT ON TOP OF THAT AND TOP WITH CHEESE...FOLD OVER EACH  POINT TO CENTER , BRUSH WITH BEATEN EGG AND SPRINKLE ON POPPYSEED ...BAKE UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN AND CHEESE IS MELTED
