New tip leads Aruba to search for missing Alabama teen

ORANJESTAD, Aruba (WSFA) - Authorities in Aruba will search once again for missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway after an American couple took an underwater picture of what they believe might be her remains.

Prosecutors' office spokeswoman Ann Angela told The Associated Press that a police diving team will soon do preliminary work at the spot where officials believe the picture was taken.

She said it is too early to say whether the tip is more viable than the other numerous ones authorities have received.

Angela said the couple can't pinpoint the exact location, but a local resident believes he can find the spot.

A Pennsylvania couple who visited Aruba took the photo and turned it over to the FBI.

The search is one of many that authorities have launched to find Holloway's body since the 18-year-old Mountain Brook teen disappeared while on vacation in Aruba in 2005. She was last seen in May 2005 leaving a bar on the final night of a high school graduation trip to the Dutch Caribbean island.
