Auburn club tour travels to Atlanta

Auburn Al - Auburn Club Tour in Atlanta will be held at the Cobb Galleria Center. The Auburn Alumni Association's first-ever Tiger Trek, an Auburn Club tour featuring head football coach Gene Chizik, and Aubie, Auburn's six-time national champion mascot, begins on Tuesday, April 20th in Atlanta.

It is the first of nine Tiger Trek stops that will run through April and the end of July. The Tiger Trek in Atlanta will be held at the Cobb Galleria Center, Hall A at 2 Galleria Parkway in Atlanta. Doors open at 5 p.m. ET.  For more information, visit www.atlantaauburnclub.org/aac/ or email to communications@atlantaauburnclub.org.

For dates and locations of the 2010 Tiger Trek, go to www.aualum.org/clubs, or www.auburntigers.com. A portion of proceeds raised at each club meeting will fund student scholarships to assist Auburn students from the respective communities. Tiger Rags, the official apparel and souvenir store of the Auburn Alumni Association, will be on-site and will donate 20 percent of sales to support the local club.

There are currently 98 Auburn Clubs nationwide that are supported by the Auburn Alumni Association, whose mission is to foster and strengthen the relationship between Auburn University and its alumni and friends; to preserve and promote the university's traditions, purposes, growth and alumni; and to keep alive the spirit of affection and reverence for our alma mater.
