MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Montgomery police officers say they've arrested a 15-year-old as part of their investigation into last Friday's robbery and shooting at an Atlanta Highway gas station.

The 15-year-old, who wasn't identified because of his age, is one of two suspects wanted in the case. The suspects, both males, walked into the Shell Station at 6025 Atlanta Highway just before 7:00pm Friday. One showed a gun and a robbery ensued.

After robbing the business, one of the suspects shot a customer in the back while the 27-year-old victim was following directions by lying on the floor. The victim was taken to an area hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the 15-year-old is charged with Robbery 1st Degree and an additional charge is forthcoming regarding the shooting of the victim.

The boy is being held at the Montgomery County Juvenile Facility.
