Two arrested in Prattville's first murder of 2010

PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - Two suspects are under arrest in Prattville's first homicide of 2010 and the first since July 2008.

The shooting happened on Cosby Court Friday evening. James Anthony "AJ" Jones, 39, of Millbrook died from the shooting.

Leonardo Antwaun Allen, 27, of Blueberry Hill Road in Autauga County turned himself in to police investigators late Monday afternoon. He's now charged with First Degree Murder.

Anthony Demetrice Ford, 39, of Cloverhill Drive in Montgomery was also picked up Tuesday morning. He was located in the New Orleans, La. area by the U. S. Marshalls Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force. He's waiting extradition back to Alabama.

A photo of Ford was not immediately available.

Both men are charged with murder and bond is set for each at $50,000.

Police say the homicide investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
