Napolitano to visit command center in Mobile

 

MOBILE, Ala. (AP) — Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is visiting Mobile to look at operations to minimize the Deepwater BP oil spill impacts at the Mobile Incident Command Center.

During her visitTuesday, Napolitano will join Alabama Gov. Bob Riley for a tour of the command center and will meet with federal, state and local officials to discuss the response effort.

Napolitano and Riley plan an afternoon news conference at the command center.
