FL men indicted in AL pharmacy burglaries

FORT PAYNE, AL (AP) - Officials say at least eight Florida men tied to a drug and theft ring have been indicted on federal charges related to two 2009 burglaries at Sylvania Pharmacy in DeKalb County.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said in a news release that hundreds of pills were taken during the burglaries, including hydrocodone, oxycodone, naproxen, diazepam and lithium.

For the January 2009 burglary, Mickey J. Lemons, Richard Allen Crain, John Darrow Maddox and Joshua North, all of New Port Richey, Florida, were charged with stealing and possessing with intent to distribute hydromorphone and hydrocodone.

For the July 2009 burglary, Lemons and Darrell Andrew Sedilko Jr., Shawn Michael Baker and Daniel Lee Johnson, all of New Port Richey, were charged with stealing and possessing with intent to distribute oxycodone and hydrocodone.
