Cocaine arrests in Montgomery

A concerned citizen leads Auburn Narcotics officers to a major crack cocaine bust.  Auburn Police arrested Roderick L. Butler and Raymond B. Tartt both of Auburn and charged each with drug trafficking and fleeing or attempting to elude police.

The arrests come after a drug investigation involving a residence on Gentry Drive.  Investigators tell WSFA 12 News when officers attempted to contact Butler and Tartt at the house, they fled on foot. Officers apprehended both in the area.

Butler and Tartt are in the Lee County Detention Center.  Auburn Police say the investigation is ongoing and other arrests are possible.
