John O'Neill, M.D., joined Montgomery Cancer Center in January 2010 as a radiologist. Certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology, he has served as a neuroradiology specialist at practices in Jacksonville and Ormond Beach, Florida. He is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Radiologic Society of North America.
Dr. O'Neill graduated cum laude in neuroscience from the University of Scranton, receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from Loyola University of Chicago. After a transitional residency at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, he served his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Florida, where he was chief resident as well as a film session moderator at the 2002 meeting of the Association of University Radiologists. He earned his fellowship in diagnostic neuroradiology at Duke University Medical Center.
A dedicated runner and cyclist, Dr. O'Neill is married to wife Nicolle, and is the proud father of two children, son Torin and daughter Noelle, who love the playground at Deer Creek.
