Autauga Academy Teacher a Class Act

Posted by: Judd Davis - bio | email

Prattville, AL (WSFA) - Annette Roberts has been in the classroom for 20 years.  She loves teaching.   Four years ago she moved to Alabama and found the perfect home at Autauga Academy.   "I love the environment," Roberts said.  "The small class sizes, it's a lot of hands on stuff and we get to teach the way I love to, very creative."

One thing is for sure, there's never a dull moment in her class.   "We do a lot of science experiments, we build stuff and blow stuff up, you know dissect things."

A student nominated Mrs. Roberts for the Class Act award.  She says that means a lot.   "These kids have a love of learning and like to please their teacher. They'll do whatever I ask and have fun doing it."    She has fun too, and she's this week's Class Act.
