TUSCALOOSA, AL. - The No. 3-ranked and No. 1 seeded Alabama softball team (51-9, 23-4 SEC), fresh off winning the Tuscaloosa Regional championship, will play the Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine (47-13, 19-1 WAC) in the Tuscaloosa Super Regional.
The two teams will meet in the best-of-three series beginning on this evening with first pitch slated for 5:30 p.m.
The series opener will be broadcast on ESPNU.
Saturday's game will start at 4:00 p.m. with the if necessary game scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN. Cara Capuano and Michele Smith will call the weekend's action from the Alabama Softball Complex.
