MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Montgomery police say they were forced to use a taser on a 17 year old this morning, after a report of a burglary attempt on the North Side.
Police spotted three teens around portable classrooms this morning at Wares Ferry Elementary school. Officers arrived on the scene around 11 O'clock, after a report of a burglary in process.
Authorities say the teens fled when they spotted officers. Two of the suspects took off into the woods, where police caught up with them. According to police, when the 17 year old was confronted by officers the teen approached them in a threatening way, which caused them to tase the boy.
All three teens are in custody and charges are pending.
