Wachovia to change its name to Wells Fargo

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Wachovia customers get ready for another name change.

The bank announced that it will change to Wells Fargo by late September.

New "Green" ATM's were unveiled by the bank as part of the transition process.

The machines operate in six languages and can remember your recent transactions.

Bank officials tell customers that the merger will be seamless. Wachovia merged with Wells Fargo in December 2008.

Atlanta will continue to be the headquarters for the company's Southeast region.
