ESPN to air Auburn vs. Clemson game

AUBURN, AL – Auburn's football game against Clemson on Sept. 18 at Jordan-Hare Stadium will kick off at 6 p.m. CT and will be televised nationally by ESPN.

It will mark Auburn's second straight game during the 2010 season to be televised by ESPN.

The Tigers' Sept. 9 game at Mississippi State will also air on the network, and the start time for that game has been set for 6:30 p.m. CT.

Auburn and Clemson will be meeting for the 46th time, but it will be the first regular-season matchup between the teams since the 1971 season, when Auburn won 35-13 at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The two teams have since played twice in bowl games in Atlanta. Auburn won both bowl games, winning the 1998 Peach Bowl, 21-17, and the 2007 Chick-fil-A Bowl, 23-20, in overtime. Auburn leads the all-time series, 33-11-2.
