Judge Juan Buendia issued the order before dawn Friday, instructing penal authorities to place the Dutchman in a penitentiary pending trial. Van der Sloot remains the lone suspect in the 2005 disappearance in Aruba of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway. He told Peruvian authorities earlier that he knew the whereabouts of Holloway's body, but would only reveal the information to Aruban officials. Copyright 2010 by The Associated Press.
